- At the heart of the automation is a Siemens S7-1200 PLC, which has become an industry standard due to robust performance in industrial applications. The PLC processes data from a complete array of instrumentation sensors covering the water treatment pressures, flows, level and water quality.

- Kim Automation provides systems with WIFI connectivity for seamless monitoring from computer or smart-phone from the included web server. Whether onsite or off, the operator can check all aspects of water treatment performance such as recovery percentage, salt rejection, and operating cost per 1000 gallons. Monitoring is made easy since the remote dashboard view is the same as on the machine.

- Alert levels are easy to set using the touchscreen format, and allow instant SMS text messages or emails when the alert level is met or an alarm occurs. The PLC control keeps daily data for 365 days, which can be downloaded in a spreadsheet format for easy trend analysis or reporting.

Kim Automation custom solutions can be designed to maximize energy efficiency through VFD pump controls or through TOU optimization for lowest power cost. Water conservation programs can be implemented through recycle and reuse programs. Data files are automatically created for reporting, for preventative maintenance and for trend analysis.
